New words I've learnt today - 17/04/2011

Teetotalism (or tee-totalism) is a path to not to drink alcohol or who advocates this practice. A person who prefers this practice is called teetotaler. Teetotalism was started in preston, England in the early 19th century. (from Wikipedia)

I have to say I'm not a complete teetotaler. While I'm against drinking alcohol due to health reasons, I usually drink wine or champagne to celebrate birthdays, the New Year or Christmas. Red wine can be also healthy if you drink a small amount per day.

A mocktail is a cocktail without alcohol.
